I'm so sad to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with him in the sports department at KWWL in Waterloo back in the early 80s. He was a kind man and a good mentor. We spent a lot of time together at assorted sporting events and he was always a gentleman. I can still see that boyish smile! Sincere condolences to your family.

Though I only knew Mike for a short time he always made it a point to seek me out and speak to me during company functions in which I was a guest and not an employee. He was a fun loving joyful soul who will be missed. My condolences to the family, God Bless you all and Mike is God's New Anchor! Maybe he can put a good word in for better Rochester weather!

Trish, we are so saddened by your loss. I sent Dan a note on facebook, but I'm sure he is flooded with notes. I didn't even know Mike was sick, until Bryan told me of the sad news last week. We will always cherish the good memories from youth & high school baseball. Mike is in God's hands now & may the love & mercy of God help you, Dan, Kristen & family heal from your loss.
